SENIORS

Last time we played Mt Waverley, it was a tight contest decided by 9 points. We knew we could match it with them, and it was going to take a full four quarter performance to get there. Sadly though the boys could never find their way and after letting Mt Waverley get an early jump, they could never bring them back. Mt Waverley proved too strong on the day running out by 80 points. Andy Mac was strong up forward with 4 goals while Shaun Jackson continued to impress in his second senior game.
Goals: Andrew MacKay 4, 1 each to James Scully, Casey Mazzoletti, Muhummad Kiki, Mimo Dimachki.
Best: Shaun Jackson, Hayden Schipper, Lachlan Mutch, James Hadfield, James Scully.

RESERVES

The Reserves took on top side Mt Waverley and took it right up to the flag favourites, going into the half time break only two goals down. Unfortunately the second half was a different story, with the end result being a disappointing loss after such a promising start.
Peter Gerard was one of the few shining lights down back, along with Tim De Neise who fought hard all day. One's skipper Murphy Kerr, returning from injury, also played a big game. The first half showed we can mix it with the best and the boys will be keen to redeem themselves this week against Dandenong.
